Law Enforcement

For more than two decades, Safer has had the unique opportunity to work with New Mexico law enforcement ENDWI and BKLUP programs.

In recent years, Safer has also provided agreement negotiation and technical support for other programs, such as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) and the 100 Days & Nights of Summer campaign. As of October 2014, 92 law enforcement agencies, including municipal, county, and tribal agencies), and each of the 12 New Mexico State Police districts participate in one or more of these programs. Outreach efforts include sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols, directed enforcement, and public education.
