Buckle Up New Mexico
Conference
The annual Buckle
Up New Mexico Conference is sponsored by the NMDOT, TSB and Safer
(Safer). The conference provides child passenger safety advocates
around the State an opportunity to come together to discuss new
issues in child passenger safety, conducting car seat clinics,
and operating fitting stations. Participants also hear from featured
speakers representing a variety of child passenger safety topics.
A portion of the conference is devoted to the New Mexico Car
Seat Distribution Program (NMCSDP) coordinators for discussion
of program guidelines and requirements, and technical support.
Individuals who attend the Buckle Up New Mexico Conference have
the opportunity to receive educational materials from the Injury
Prevention Resource Center to take back to their communities,
as well as supplies and materials for conducting car seat clinics.

of New Mexico, Beverly Allen of the New Mexico Broadcasters Association,
