Administrative Team Members

Lisa Kelloff, President, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She has completed course work with the University of Colorado at Denver for her Master's Degree in Public Administration (thesis pending).  Lisa has experience in operations management, marketing, and fund development, including grant writing, private sponsorships, and membership enhancement. As President of Safer, Lisa serves as the chief administrative officer responsible for overseeing the Operation DWI, Operation Buckle Down, and Occupant Protection Programs; and an Injury Prevention Resource Center.  On behalf of Safer, Lisa has advocated for improved child passenger safety laws.  During the past five years, Safer was successful in having the Safety Belt Use Act improved in 2001 and again in 2005.  Lisa is a member of the New Mexico Society Association Executives and the Safeteen Board of Directors, and also serves as chairman of the Child Fatality Review, Transportation Panel through the New Mexico Department of Health, Office of Epidemiology.

Michelle Cisewski, Project Design Administrator, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a public relations/advertising emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Prior to joining Safer, Michelle served as communications coordinator for another New Mexico nonprofit agency and was recognized for her unique graphic designs. As project design administrator for Safer, Michelle provides professional leadership and project management support in the planning, development, and coordination of both internal and external communication projects. She is responsible for in-house graphic design development and production of promotional material, including brochures, calendars, and conference material. Michelle received her car seat technician certification in December 2001.

Erin Zetocha, Finance Administrator, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from the University of New Mexico, Anderson Schools of Management. She is a skilled accountant with over 17 years of experience which includes conducting audits, administering pension plans, and maintaining nonprofit accounting systems. Erin is responsible for all of Safer's accounting and financial management, including maintaining the general ledger, generating financial statements, budgeting and reporting to management as well as funding sources. She also provides purchasing support for Safer programs. Erin received her car seat technician certification in October 2001 and became a Certified Child Passenger Safety Instructor in March 2006. As a mother of three, Erin is passionate about protecting children from unintentional injuries. She takes an active role in increasing the safety of children by participating in car seat clinics and fitting stations, and speaking to groups about child passenger safety.

Nancy Kaup, Program Administrator, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Prior to joining Safer, she held a health educator position with a nationally recognized disease management organization. As a health educator, Nancy gained tremendous experience in educating the public on various health improvement topics. Nancy also has experience in coordinating and executing County Extension Service educational programs. As Program Administrator, Nancy serves as a liaison between Safer and it's external constituents for all traffic safety contracts; overseeing data analysis, report preparation, and grant and proposal writing. She is instrumental in developing Safer’s conferences and educational presentations. Nancy received her child passenger safety technician certification in January 2005.

Catherine Price, Program Coordinator, earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from the University of New Mexico with an emphasis in Communicative Arts.  She has also been a licensed EMT Basic since 2001.  Catherine has worked in client services in the pharmaceutical industry, in digital printing for a manufacturer of surgical tools, and as a teacher with Albuquerque Public Schools.  She applies her background in customer service, teaching, and injury prevention to further Safer’s Occupant Protection programs.  As Program Coordinator, Catherine coordinates the New Mexico Child Safety Seat Distribution Program, Child Passenger Safety Technician Trainings, and Fitting Stations.  Catherine received her child passenger safety technician certification in July 2001 and is working toward becoming a Certified Child Passenger Safety Instructor.

Maredi Salaz, Office Manager.  Prior to joining the team at Safer, Maredi was employed by the New Mexico Educators' Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque for four and a half years, where she was recognized as a Quality Champion. As office manager for Safer, Maredi is responsible for office maintenance while providing general support assistance in daily activities to administrative and resource center team members, and law enforcement liaisons. She is also responsible for developing/updating office procedures; maintaining monthly and quarterly inventory lists and databases; coordinating and evaluating special events; scheduling appointments; and addressing customer questions and concerns via the telephone and email. Maredi received her car seat technician certification in January 2002.
